After not finding anything and a pivotal event, Gael left the safety of the nearby Elven village and proceeded to wander the world, helping those he could before fatefully making his way into the Lucky Sapphire, meeting Maddie, and then joining what would become Fortune's Blade. She has played tabletop RPGs on and off since high school and has approximate knowledge of many things. They mostly focus on digital illustration and are pretty much surgically attached to their iPad at this point. Video games like Dragon Age have always be en a favorite pastime of hers so the evolution to TTRPG was long-awaited and natural. This is their first actual experience with D&D and MOTW, although she’s absorbed tons of TTRPG content before now. Outside of the games, Jill’s other hobbies include video games, comic books, podcasts, true crime documentaries, and shit-posting on her very high-quality twitter account. She intends to continue substitute teaching until graduate school. She enjoys podcasts, video games with great stories/lots of freedom, and tends to hop through hobbies depending on the time of year. He enjoys logic puzzles, sandbox games, and literature of all varieties (and spur-of-the-moment jokes, which tend to flood the Roll20 text chat ). He has been playing D&D for over five years and is somewhat of an expert regarding the rules and mechanics of the game. Whether in games or real life, Kody will leverage his creativity and critical thinking abilities to play a supporting role to anybody in need. After working on various reality shows, she realized it wasn’t for her at the moment and instead focused on editing for Dicefunctional and for Jace’s Youtube. She has been playing D&D for just over two years but due to her propensity for playing in multiple games in a week, it’s more like she’s been playing for five years. She also enjoys podcasts, Michelle Branch, and not understanding any of your anime references. As the resident grandma of DF, she just wants to make sure you’re eating and sleeping properly.

Years later, First Mate/Quartermaster Aleksander mutinied against Takhma when it was clear Deah was meant to inherit the ship. Making their escape, Deah joined the Blue Cloaks a few months later with her brother (who eventually separated to join a different group), and during her adventures, she tamed a pseudodragon, took her old captain’s moniker for her own and entered into a pact with the Hunter god. When she was 4 years old, her mother never came home. For the last 20 years, Maddie questions her mother's whereabouts. After training under Finn, she became a prodigy in baking and culinary arts. Maddie is also trained in some magic spells, but she never considered using them for combat and adventuring purposes. When Maddie joined the Blue Cloaks, she befriended a tall, friendly firbolg named Gael. During her adventures with the Fortune's Blade, Maddie finds out she's not exactly human and her missing mother is not what she seems.
