Caz's family originally lived in a hustling criminal city called, Thornhurst. After Caz was born, they escaped their dangerous hometown and traveled with the circus. Upon hearing thief stories from Uncle Don, Caz imitates her uncle's stories which eventually develops her kleptomania at a young age. Caz started performing tightrope walking at age 15 when the original performer died in an accident. Reuben is her monkey familiar that she stole a wooden monkey statue from a mysterious man. Although her family worries that her kleptomania will get her arrested, Caz tries not to get caught or cause trouble on purpose for her parents' sake.
