A wealthy landowner, widower, and grandson of a renowned vampire hunter, Roy is what would commonly be described as “a douchebag.” Still, when his wife died soon after his daughter’s birth, he never remarried and took very good care of his daughter Mālie. His murder at his own party is the event that bound the current party together, and the ensuing mystery revealed criminal activities presumably used to bolster his wealth.

 

Roy was murdered by his partner in crime (literally) to prevent him from tying his name to his fraudulent dyed fabric operation.​
