Fin and Amelie are Maddie’s parents who run a bakery in Srecane. Amelie is an azata, and was missing for 20 years, presumed dead, until Fortune’s Blades discovered she was alive and captured on another plane. She has since been rescued and is back to living with her husband, helping out with the bakery. She is very much a warrior, whereas Fin is mostly just a kind, human baker who raised Maddie as a single father while Amelie was missing.
